Other Notes:
Saw 7, is expected to be the final Installment of the series in 3D. Saw 8 was expected to happen but since their was a decrease in sales at the box office for Saw 6 they have decided incorporate Saw 8 into Saw 7. Saw 7 is slated to hit theatres October 22, 2010.
Ghostbuster 3 is expected to be release sometime in 2011. It was once believed the the script for the third installment was used for the video game. Ankroyd wrote the script for the movie in the 90's and it took so long because it lacked motivation to begin production. Both Bill Murray and Rick Moranis are onboard for the movie. I'm guessing this could be a final installment to the series.
Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral is 23 years after the events of the original film Trisha Jenner who now has a teenage son named Darry (named after her late brother who was killed by the Creeper) has a recurring nightmare her son will suffer the same fate. So she sets out with Jack Taggart and Jack Taggart Jr. to end The Creeper's reign once and for all. Gina Philips plays Trisha Jenner,
Ray Wise plays Jack Taggart Sr., Luke Edwards plays Jack Taggart Jr., Marieh Delfino plays Rhonda Truitt, Brandon Smith plays Sgt. David Tubbs, and Jonathan Breck plays The Creeper. {This is info is available thanks to Wikipedia, taken straight from their website}
Mrs. Doubtfire 2 was expected to be released in 2007 but Robin Williams wasn't satisfied with the script written. Due to more script problems the idea was tossed. The sequel was suppose to follow Mrs Doubtfire keeping an eye on one of daughter has she went to college. The idea maybe revisted one day but its unlikely.
Wes Craven wanted to remake The People Under The Stairs but after last years remake of The Last House On The Left was release, the idea was put aside. One day it may be revisited but it may be unlikely. Wes Craven is currently working on Scream 4 and My Soul To Take both slated to air 2010.
Freddy vs Jason 2 I'm guessing is in limbo. Its unclear as to whether production has started or they pitched the idea. Just something to sit on. Expect both. Don't be surprised if there actually is a movie in theatres or not never see one.
Ice Cube's movie Are We Done (and There) Yet is coming to TV. Terry Crew will replace Ice Cube's movie role,Nick. Ice Cube isn't out the picture though he will have a recurring role on the show. 10 episodes of the show Are We There Yet will begin airing June 2010.
WB would like to bring Mortal Kombat back to the big screen but there's doubts it'll happen. Not sure yet but "Devastion" i believe is suppose to be that movie i listed for 2013 release but is currently in the middle of a lawsuit. However in a few years another Mortal Kombat/DC crossover game is expected to be released. Maybe Spy Hunter, expecting to star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, will have better luck with development. The movie was originally suppose to be released in 2005, but due to screenwriter and director changes the movie seemed to be put on hiatus.
Jurassic Park 4 was once put on the back burner but almost every year since 2002 there was always some update given. The latest update says the fourth installment will begin a new trilogy and will be different from its predecessors. Jurassic Park 4 was supposed to be release back in summer 2005 but now will be released sometime in the near future maybe later this year or in 2011. No Target Date has been set yet. Stay Tuned!
In 2006, the Robocop film remake began but found it put on hiatus due to conflicting projects with the director. Recently at the 2009 Comic Con Convention it was announced the movie would still continue to be worked on and is expected to release as early as summer 2010 but there was confusion if Darren Aronofsky was directing. With many conflicting issues I believe further development of the remake is put on hiatus. Expect a 2011, 2012, or maybe even a 2013 release, who knows.
XXX 3, to be title xXx:The Return of Xander Cage, underwent a few delays in development but its believe to be back on and production begins early this year for a summer 2011 release. Stay Tuned for any changes or further delays.
Fantastic Four 3 is still in the air. The last update was September 2009 where Fox rebooted the film and Akiva Goldsman is to be the producer and Michael Green will write the script. No other information has become available. If it happens the film might be released in 2013 which listed in TBA 2013 on The Movie Insider's webpage.
Its believe that the 1970's TV series Good Times is getting made into a movie. There seems to be no other word on casting and development besides Graham Kaye and Rodney Omanoff will produce the film. If I find any info I'll let you know or vice versa.
