Weather for Upcoming Week (Indy)

Good Evening!
Half way thru this weekend so far. Tonight clouds will roll in from the South. This will sort of pave way for a cloudy Sunday. Been watching a system to the south. A dip in the Northern Jet Stream ushering colder air will merge with the southern storm system in Kentucky that will produce snowfall South of Indiana moving Northeast. Not expecting any snowfall in Indianapolis. I will also rule out any flurry activity but this will mean cooler temps for us with highs in upper 30s to possibly topping 40° under cloudy skies, may squeeze in some afternoon sunshine also. We should begin to clear for a Sunny Monday. We are back into a stormy pattern though with three  in the next 7 days.

Storm System #1 will pass through the state of Indiana overnight
Monday. We'll be waking up to wet Tuesday Morning. I think rainfall totals should be very light in fact I think most will just be spotty showers off & on that will carry on into the afternoon otherwise a cloudy day topping 50°. Keep that rain chance also for Weds.

Storm System #2 moves in bringing more rainfall Thursday, not a lot. But cooler air could help produce some snowflakes, nothing significant.

Storm System #3 moves in Friday. This could bring more snow showers or a light wintry mix into the area with temps in upper 20s, low 30s for the day.

Next weekend may start with a light wintry mix Saturday Morning changing to all rain as temps warm from upper 20s to above freezing. Should end by the afternoon hrs. While Next Sundy I think we'll be fairly dry with intervals of clouds & sunshine. Another few systems will move in as we end Feb and Begin March. Cooler Air will be upon us offering  up more snow chances. But none of this is carved out yet and everything mentioned here is subject to change. These are predictions NOT FACTS! More to come as these systems form.
