Record Warmth Today, Storms Tonight

Good Morning! Cool start to the day. Temps low to Mid 50s fastly warming to 60s before 10AM. Indiana will get a little taste of record warmth today as a warm front front lifts North. We need to hit atleast 83° to tie the 66 yr old Record set back in 1946. We have maybe a 50/50 chance of breaking it but I don't think the record will fall. Forecasting 81°.
Conditions will be favorable this evening for thunderstorms to pop up as a cold front moves in tonight. Some could be severe. This could hold together for storms to carry on throughout the midnight hours. Precipitation Totals should be less than half inch but expect higher totals with storms as we could have a heavy downpour.
This cold front will cause temps to cool off and will remain cool for the remainder of the week with temps running in the low to mid 60s. Frost is possible Friday Morning as temps dip into the mid 30s, low 30s away from the city.
A daily chances of showers is in my forecast for the next 7 days. However, a few will not be washouts. We could see plenty of sunshine as well especially for the weekend FRIDAY-SUNDAY, most will be scattered and some days rain may not fall. Keyword is "chance" here. Temps rise to 70s for the weekend.
