Good Evening! We are heading into Mid Week. We can add today to the short list of below normal days this spring. Windy conditions only made it feel more colder this afternoon. The low dropped to 35° after 6AM this morning. Throw in a 10MPH wind and the Wind Chill Temps drops intothe 20s. The rush of cold air will continue tonight and tomorrow. A freeze warnings in effect for a big portion of the state from midnight tonight to 9AM tomorrow morning.

Meteorological Spring started about 40 Days ago. I've identified 6 Days recorded below normal as of yesterday. That means 85% of our days have been above normal. We departed the Month of March 504° above normal. Ten days into the Month we are 75° above normal. This totals 579° above normal for the season thus far.

WEDS-FRI
As the temps continue to briefly spell C-O-L-D, the winds should begin to subside. We'll squeeze another windy day Wednesday but there is not as breezy conditions in store for Thursday and Friday. Temps will slowly warm as well. We could have a Near Seasonal Friday. Highs will continue to be the 50s and low in the 30s for both Wednesday and Thursday. 60s in store for Friday.
Weekend
Thursday evening clouds will be on the increase. Chances of of rain will increase and it could very will become a washout with rainfall totals pushing over an inch. Not expecting any severe weather however we cannot rule out a rumble of thunder and a few flashes of lightning for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Weekend temperatures will warm back into the 70s. GFS model comes in strong for total precipitation by Monday dark geen, blue, and pink/red shows intensity with red being the heaviest.
Next Week
Rain chance continue as this wet weather dominates much of the 10 day outlook. Typically, April is ranked equally with December, January, February, and March as the Top 5 most cloudiest months of the year. Also, April is the most wettest month of the year. Precipitation for the month should finish normal to above normal. Temperatures looks to run normal to above normal for the week. Mid 60s is average for the middle of the month.
