Plenty of Warmth and Sunshine this afternoon. The low this morning dipped to 24° making it the Coldest April Morning in 6 years. You'll have to go back to early April 2007 when temperatures were last in the low to mid 20s. The average low temperature is 38°.
It may look and feel good outside but temperatures are well below normal. The average high is 59° and current afternoon temperatures are at 41° at 2pm.
BLOCKING PATTERN HOLDS:40 out of 47 days below normal
The sunshine will continue on not only for the rest of this afternoon but for the next few days as high pressure controls our forecast this week. This also keeps the weather nice and dry. A warming trend will get us back to 50s, soon 60s, and perhaps even a 70! I'll have the latest 7 day weather outlook posted later tonight.
