Cold Air Is Here To Stay For Awhile

Hats, Gloves, Coats, are all the things you may have pulled out of the back of the closet as colder air has been transported for not just our city but much of the nation. Temperatures are and will continue to run 5°-25° below normal over the next week. We are expected to see our coldest temperatures since mid to late March. Temperatures over the next week won't be record setting cold but on some days could be less than 10° away. Here's a breakdown of where temperatures are expected to be for the next 10 days and how it differs from the record and normals for the dates.

Most of the week will be dry but cold with some sunshine from time to time. We are looking at the potential for some accumulating snow over the weekend. Modeling data have been all over the place with how much snow we may see. For now, I'll say we could see anywhere between half inch to 2". More info and timing will be available later in the week.
