Good Evening! Another day of April done for the books. As high pressure continues to dominate so does the sunshine. Pretty much a quiet week here, after the weekend weather maps was packed with all kinds of pretty colors (rain, strong t'storms, & snow) across the the U.S. We stay dry once again tomorrow with temps in the 70s. Looks like we'll squeeze another mild day Friday but Rain pops into the picture in the afternoon hours (Friday). This system could produce a rumble of thunder, perhaps a few flashes of lightning as well but once again nothing severe here with precip totals at or less than a quarter of an inch. Showers could linger into the Saturday morning hours but they'll be hit and miss and won't add up to much as this system weakens making its exit to the right. Cooler Air moves in for the weekend that could carry into Monday. Tuesday seems Spring-like with temps in the mid to upper 60s with possibly the only rain chance for the week. Not many rain chances to finish the month. Then another warm up is brewing. We could be talking low to perhaps mid 80s on the 27th. If this holds true then we could possibly tie or break a 22 yr old record high of 84° set back in 1990. I WILL NOT make any promises of this happening. Temps could very well be in the upper 70s. Either way, next Friday will be warm from what i see at the moment. Standby, temps could cool off below normal again during the 1st half of May. This is Indiana folks, temperatures fail to stay consistent around here.
With very little rain chances for the rest of the month, pollen levels will continue to be in the high range for the rest of the month. AH-CHOO!
After looking ahead things get interesting. May could start a little soggy. Not sure if this is true at the moment so I'm overlooking it til next week but i have put it in my NEW 15 day outlook.
