A cold front is slowly moving along today. We continue to remain in the warm sector of the Spring Storms. A storm that spawned up what was believed as tornadoes (actually microburst/straight line winds) near St. Louis last night and brought over 2 feet of snow to South Dakota. Though not too impressive here, the bigger story will be the colder temperatures for Friday and Saturday and the healthy rain totals near 1" by nights end. Flood Warnings have been issued for numerous counties across the state including Marion County Indianapolis which will likely remain in effect for the next few days. I've told you guys a week ago we could be looking at another freeze or temps near the freeze point on Saturday, April 13th. The temperature is forecasted to be in the low 30s to mid 30s. The long advertised cool down will arrive shortly. Cold Front out west is beginning to pass through the Illinois/Indiana border and will temporarily put an end to an astonishing quick warm up we had. 2 back to back 70s and then 2 back to back 80s. The cold weekend will be brief and warmer temperatures return next week. But as Cold, Dry weather departs it will be replaced by a warmer, stormy setup. Standby we are in for a bumpy ride as the weather pattern goes back and forth and up and down. Another chill will be lurking for next weekend as well. Could be nearly an exact duplicate of this week. Highs 20 above the normal will turn into 10-15 below the normal. Its still been a rather chilly Spring and winter just won't let up, atleast not this month either but atleast its not as potent as the the second half of February and all of March. It was good to get a nice relief from the chill but the rising temps have stirred up high pollen count triggering the return of allergy season! Not sure if I formerly made a proper introduction but I would like to take some time to say,
