Hottest September 10th On Record in Indianapolis

WE DID IT! We reached 96° early Tuesday afternoon. This ties August 31st for the hottest temperature of the year. This also broke the previous record for the date which was 95° originally set 49 years ago in 1964 and later tied 30 years ago in 1983. The high temperature was 16° above normal (80). Tuesday's low temperature of 74° ties the 94 yr old record for highest minimum temp set back in 1919. The low temperature was 15° above normal (59).
